GOALS

To hold Courses in Human Recourses Development.
To create and update a Data Base of information on all business activities in Najaf Province.
To make Najaf SBDC a focal point for the economic activities inside Najaf Province through the cooperation with local Government, Local Companies, and Foreign Companies.
To keep holding Seminars, Conferences.
To work on sending a delegations from Najafi Businessmen to participate in Conferences, Exhibitions outside Iraq to get more experiences.
To continue to offer Training Courses in "How to start a business" or "How to improve a business".
To expand the role of Najaf SBDC as a consultative Center specialized in assisting Economic Development.

Background of Najaf SBDC

Najaf SBDC was established in 2009 in the city of Najaf as a part of Najaf Chamber of Commerce (NCOC). The SBDC is located inside the Chamber’s building near the City Center and works under the laws & regulations of NCOC.

Najaf Chamber of Commerce is an NGO aiming at promoting local Economic Development in Najaf. Najaf SBDC is working in cooperation with THE TIJARA Project, Najaf Provincial Council, Najaf Government, Najaf Investment Commission, Najaf Chamber of Commerce and Kufa University.

Najaf SBDC held different training courses in Business, Computer,Accounting,Association Management & Development.
